New charter fishing barge/cat for mussel farms
[lead]Snapper Fishing Safaris have just taken delivery of their new cat/barge. Surveyed for 40 passengers the vessel will however only take up to 20 on fishing trips.[/lead]
The new boat compliments Darryl and Megan O’Keeffe’s other two vessels. Able to cruise at a comfortable 15 to 20 knots, fishers will be able to spend more time fishing on a trip.
The vessel was designed by Kim Bertelsen and built by his company, Alloy Cats (NZ) Ltd in Mt Maunganui.
