Whitianga ferry for 63 passengers launched

It’s been 30 years since Whitianga had a new ferry to serve the eastern shores across the harbour.

This new 12m mono hulled  alloy craft, built by Alloy Cats, greatly increases capacity to meet growing demand. She’s powered by an 85hp John Deere diesel and offers greater space and comfort.
