In recent years our boats have been venturing further afield. With both large and small vessels making their way up to the Pacific Islands, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Nomad Sportfishing New Zealand

The Custom built Kingfisher 1000 Centre Cabin was launched in 2017. Built to MNZ survey, it features a full walkaround cabin which is ideal for its day to day operations as a fishing charter vessel. Powered by twin 300hp outboards the performance is very impressive.

Pago Pago Marine Charters

The flagship Kingfisher 1500 Sportfisher ‘Double Hooked’ is in operation as a game fishing charter vessel in American Samoa Built to MNZ survey and powered by twin Caterpiller 450hp engines this boat is capable of speeds over 30knts.

Real Journeys -

Real Journeys have taken delivery of a Kingfisher 1200 Powercat Ferry recently, The ‘Rakiura Explorer’ was designed for passenger tours on Stewart Island, with kiwi watching in mind it is setup for nightime operations. With indoor seating for 24 and 16 outside on the upper deck.

Alfreds Fishing Charters, Samoa

The latest Kingfisher model, length overall: 8 meters, beam: 2.6 meters, power source: 225 horsepower, HONDA 4 stroke outboard. The boat is well set up for day charters and carries modern electronics (Raymarine) and excellent gear. Trolling reels are all Shimano Tiagra’s (80’s & 50’s) and an array of light gear for bottom fishing (includes Penn’s, Fin Nor, etc.).

Snapper Safaris, Coromandel

Snapper Safaris have a purpose built Kingfisher powercat for targeting the mussel farms out from Te Kouma, Coromandel. With a big open deck and forward wheelhouse it is the perfect platform for this type of operation

Tauranga Water Transport

The Kingfisher 1150 Powercat ‘Mata Rua’ was launched back in 2012, it is used to ferry passengers within the harbour and out to the outlying islands.
